Acetaminophen or Paracetamol or APAP is a drug used against minor toothache, pains, aches, and fever. It does not have anti-rheumatic or anti-inflammatory effects.
Original product (called Paracetamol outside of North America) is available without prescription ("over the counter or OTC") and has few side effects: most hospitals in the U.S. choose it over Aspirin,  Ibuprofen, Ketoprofen, Naproxen or other mild Pain Killers.
