toothache,
pains, aches, and fever. It does not have anti-rheumatic or
anti-inflammatory effects. |

Paracetamol outside of North America) is available without
prescription ("over the counter or OTC") and has few side effects: most
hospitals in the U.S. choose it over
Aspirin, Ibuprofen,

Dental Use:

Acetaminophen
is considered safe for human use in
recommended doses, but because of its wide availability, deliberate or
accidental overdoses are fairly common with:
- Dermatologic Adverse
Effects: rash
- Hepatic Adverse Effects:
may increase bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase,
hepatic toxicity!
- Renal Adverse Effects: may
increase ammonia,
nephrotoxicity!
